General Applicability and Terms

This Warranty Certificate is governed by the terms and conditions of the primary contract between TTLC and the Owner. In case of any conflict, the contract shall take precedence. This Warranty supplements the contract and should be interpreted in alignment with it.

Note: The work completed by TTLC may also have a manufacturer's warranty for the products installed on your home. Please contact us for more information.


1. Warranty Coverage and Term

TTLC offers the following workmanship warranties for completed projects:

  • Roof Replacements: 10 years from completion date
    (No warranty is provided for roof repairs, partial replacements, or maintenance services on existing roofs not fully replaced by TTLC.)

  • Siding: 3 years from completion date

  • Gutter, Soffit, and Fascia: 1 year from completion date

2. Activation of Warranty

The Warranty is valid only after full contract payment is received and the account is in good standing. The effective date is the project completion date.

3. Transfer of Warranty

  • Warranty is transferable once within 1 year of installation.

  • Notification and a $450 transfer processing fee are required within 10 days of property sale.

  • Transfer of warranty fees may apply. Please see certificate for more information.

  • TTLC reserves the right to inspect the project prior to approval.

4. Scope of Coverage

Covers only the specific work performed by TTLC. Pre-existing components and any third-party modifications are excluded. Work not performed or expressly replaced by TTLC is not covered.

5. Storm Damage Inspection Requirement

  • Owner must notify TTLC within 10 days of a storm or extreme weather event.

  • TTLC provides a free post-storm inspection.

  • No third-party may access the project without TTLC's prior written consent.

6. Warranty Claim Procedure

Submit a written claim to Warranty@ttlcinc.com or by mail. Include a description and photos, if possible.

6.1 If Covered:

TTLC will perform necessary repairs at no cost using its own crews.

6.2 If Not Covered:

  • TTLC will explain the reason for denial.

  • The Owner may opt for paid repair service.

  • A $250 inspection fee applies but is included in the total cost of repair, not in addition to it.

7. Owner Maintenance Responsibilities

The Owner is responsible for routine maintenance, including:

  • Cleaning gutters and roof surfaces

  • Maintaining flashings, caulk, and ventilation

  • Promptly addressing leaks (within 24–72 hours of discovery)

Failure to maintain or report issues may void the Warranty.

8. Exclusions from Coverage

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Acts of God (e.g., hail, tornadoes)

  • Structural/design flaws

  • Manufacturer defects (covered separately)

  • Normal wear of sealants and caulk

  • Poor attic ventilation or moisture issues

  • Ice damming

  • Damage by animals, pests, or vegetation

  • Vandalism, misuse, or negligence

  • Third-party modifications or attachments

  • Pre-existing or unrelated conditions

  • Aging/corrosion of flashing not replaced by TTLC

  • Chemical or pollutant damage

Owner may hire TTLC at normal cost to repair excluded issues. Upon full correction, TTLC may at its discretion reinstate coverage for the remaining term.

9. TTLC Inspection & Documentation Rights

TTLC may conduct periodic inspections for quality assurance or claim evaluation. The Owner must provide reasonable access. Documentation may support or deny warranty claims.

10. Limitation of Warranty and Liability

TTLC’s sole obligation is to repair covered workmanship issues. TTLC is not liable for design issues, material defects, or third-party work.

11. No Other Warranties

This Certificate overrides all prior warranties, oral or written. No agent may alter the Warranty without written authorization.

12. Limited Liability for Damages

TTLC is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including personal injury or property loss. Liability is limited to repair cost.

13. Contract Relationship and Payments

Warranty service does not waive any contractual rights. Payments under the contract must be made as agreed. Warranty is void if the contract is unpaid.

14. Governing Law and Legal Fees

This Warranty is governed by Illinois law. Legal disputes shall follow the roofing contract’s resolution provisions. Prevailing parties may recover reasonable attorney fees and court costs.
